Owned and operated by Sean and Tracy Summers, Cabinets & Design by HMI Rescue was founded on over 30 years of experience helping local families in San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country with quality cabinet remodeling services.
Although our company was created in 2017 to serve the homeowners in the area, we come from a family of carpenters and remodelers. As a second generation tradesman, Sean decided to use his extensive background in cabinetry and Tracy’s administration expertise to create Cabinets & Design!

When you’re making big decisions about the function and aesthetic of your home, you need to have your hands on all your options — and why can’t you do that in your very own home? HMI Rescue brings the showroom to you! We can bring all the materials you’re considering right to your home to discuss your options.
Once you’ve decided on materials, colors, finishes and more, we’ll load all the details into our design software to start bringing your dream to life. We work with you to make sure the mockup matches both your needs and your budget.
Our Manufacturers
Our primary cabinet manufacturer is Legacy Cabinets. Built right here in the U.S. and installed by our experienced carpenters, Legacy Cabinets have proven to be high-quality, long-lasting and beautiful. You can even take advantage of their visualizer tool to formulate what you want your kitchen remodel to look like. Then, we’ll use our exclusive partnership with them to design and order your cabinets with ease.
